Who we are
Trajectory Golf LLC ("Trajectory Golf," "we," "us") operates trajectory-golf.com and the member portal at trajectorygolf.optixapp.com. We're a Bastrop, Texas indoor golf simulator club opening Q1 2027. Contact: hello@trajectory-golf.com.
What we collect, and when
- Email address — when you join the free waitlist on this site, or when you sign up for a founding membership in the member portal.
- Name, email, mobile and chosen tier — when you start a reservation on this site (the /reserve page), so we can finish your signup, follow up if you don't complete it, and see which of our ads led to it.
- Billing details — collected by our member portal (Optix) during membership signup, not on this website.
- Advertising click data — if you arrive from one of our ads, the campaign name and the ad platform's click identifier (for example Meta's fbclid) are kept in a first-party cookie for 30 days and attached to your reservation.
- Payment information — card details are collected and stored by Stripe during membership signup. We never see or store your card number.
- Site usage data — anonymized analytics (page views, referrer, device type, rough geography) via PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and Plausible. While we advertise, the Meta Pixel and Google Tag may also set cookies so those platforms can measure their ads.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Provide membership services and bay access once we open.
- Send construction updates, opening-day details, and member-only announcements via email.
- Text you, only if you opt in. There are two separate, optional opt-ins on /reserve: membership updates (signup confirmation, a reminder before your first charge, card or payment problems, and replies to your questions) and news & offers (opening date, events, leagues, promotions — also available by texting GOLF to our number). Ticking one never enrolls you in the other. Up to 4 messages per month per kind; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Details in our SMS Terms.
- Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in status collected by Trajectory Golf are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Process membership payments via Stripe.
- Understand which sections of the site are useful (anonymized).
- Measure our advertising: when a reservation completes we tell the ad platform it came from, using a hashed (one-way, irreversible) version of your email or phone plus the click identifier — never your card details.
We don't sell or rent your information to anyone. We don't share your email with other businesses for their marketing.
Who else sees your data
We use these third-party services to run the business — each receives only what they need for their function:
- Optix — member portal and bookings (email, name, phone, membership details)
- Stripe — payment processing (card data, billing details)
- Vercel — website hosting (anonymized request logs)
- PostHog — anonymized product analytics
- Plausible — privacy-first, cookieless analytics (used for the public total visitors counter)
- Meta (Facebook / Instagram) — ad measurement (hashed email/phone, click identifier, and the fact that a reservation or membership happened) while we run ads
- Upstash — secure storage of reservation leads started on this site (name, email, phone, tier, ad click data)
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Ask what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete your account, your lead record, or your newsletter subscription.
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any message we send.
- Cancel a membership with 30 days' notice — see the Terms.

Cookies
We use a minimal set of first-party cookies for site functionality and anonymized analytics. While we advertise, the Meta Pixel and Google Tag may also set third-party cookies so those platforms can measure their ads and show relevant content. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting the rest of the site.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top and, for material changes, email founding members directly. Continued use of the site or membership after a change means acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
